‘Call of the Wild’ festival rocked with eLumen8, LEDJ & Equinox

This year’s show was long awaited, with the rock festivals-goers really letting their hair down to some amazing bands, backed up by exciting light shows plus atmospheric and special effects, from powerful movers and battens to haze machines and pyrotechnics, and even a wind machine!

MJC Electronics used products from our Elumen8, LEDJ and Equinox brands in force at this year’s festival. As you will from the amazing images from photographer Mark Ellis, the main stage was packed out with the Evora 1000 BSW a 3-in-1 hybrid moving head with super smooth 3 phase motors and boasting an immensely bright 180W LED. With the ability to switch between a beam, spot and wash this fixture offers a huge potential of creativity with a fully variable beam angle for projecting patterns onto walls or generating stunning mid-air effects. Alongside these were 2 of our popular Equinox Fusion movers: The 260ZR, an eye-candy effect with pixel zone mapping, and the 120 Zoom featuring 7 x 12W LEDs and motorised zoom.

The pixel controllable Tri Power Batten from Equinox was also used to frame the stage as well as being used in the backdrop, along with the powerful LEDJ 150W RGBA COB Par to further enhance the show. And of course, no festival or concert would complete without some atmospheric effects, and this event was no exception. The Equinox Verti Jets which combine an LED wash with a high output fogger, and the heavy duty, flight case housed Stage Haze 1500 both being used, as well as the Elumen8 Windstorm. A high output wind machine adjustable from a light breeze to a strong gale at one percent increments via the on-board controls or DMX.
