Hours: Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:30

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Customer Service & Order Processor to join our Colne team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.

In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are processed efficiently, enquiries are resolved promptly, and the exceptional service Prolight is known for is consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process customer orders, quotations, and returns using internal systems.
  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing product information, pricing, and availability.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and dispatch.
  • Maintain and update customer records and account information in the CRM system.
  • Assist in preparing reports and analysing order data as required.
  • Help improve processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or sales administration (B2B experience preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM or ERP systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively in a busy environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
  • Interest in lighting, audio, or entertainment technology is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided.
