Job Overview:
We’re looking for a Customer Service & Order Processor to join our Colne team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are processed efficiently, enquiries are resolved promptly, and the exceptional service Prolight is known for is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer orders, quotations, and returns using internal systems.
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing product information, pricing, and availability.
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and dispatch.
- Maintain and update customer records and account information in the CRM system.
- Assist in preparing reports and analysing order data as required.
- Help improve processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or sales administration (B2B experience preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM or ERP systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively in a busy environment.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
- Interest in lighting, audio, or entertainment technology is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided.
