Salary: £26,500 - £28,000 depending on experience and VNA licence

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 18:00

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Warehouse Operative, ideally with VNA experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about teamwork, process improvement, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload vehicles using manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet trucks, FLT, or VNA where licensed.
• Unload deliveries from suppliers and couriers.
• Check goods against delivery notes and invoices.
• Label and store stock accurately in designated locations.
• Apply stock rotation methods including FIFO and LIFO.
• Pick items accurately from a large inventory of 5000+ product lines.
• Pack goods securely and prepare them for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Update inventory systems using both manual and digital methods.
• Prepare and load orders for shipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, VNA trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners where trained.
• Follow strict health and safety procedures at all times.

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse operative role, ideally within a high-volume, multi-line picking environment.
• Experience handling heavy-duty products safely.
• Comfortable working in a physically active role with high daily step counts.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
• VNA or forklift licence is essential for the VNA-focused version of the role.
• Confident using pick sheets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Flexible with working hours when required.
