This year’s Plasa in London was a resounding success, our stand was packed out, not only with visitors, but with a whole host of professional fixtures. These were showcased on podiums and tables at our purpose-built stand, as well as on an impressive overhead rig which really made an impact!
West End Prep delivers a stunning performance of ‘Everybody's Talking about Jamie’ at the John Marley Centre in Newcastle. The West End Prep performance company (Newcastle) has once again captivated audiences with their latest production.
Who ever said you were too old for certain activities obviously never heard of Camp Wildfire! An adult summer camp where you can have adventures by day and party by night. It’s no wonder STLS Events wanted to return to highly anticipated annual music and arts festival held in the UK, taking over 100 LEDJ Spectra fixtures along for the ride.
Well, what an event! PLASA London this year was probably one of the busiest years to date, and after a 2-year break from the show, it was great to back. Prolight certainly turned heads this year with our purpose-built stand, showcasing many new and popular items from our ever-expanding Evora series moving heads to VMB lifters and Lucenti Blackwave IP Pixel bars.
Prolight Concepts Group, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Flightcase Juice. The acquisition of this respected brand enhances our current umbrella of brands, and enables Prolight to continue to stock, supply and develop this popular consumable.
The ABTT theatre show 2022 was back with a bang this year! This 2-day exhibition for the world of theatre, events, festivals, music and increasingly sport, film and TV was held last week at the Alexandra Palace in London. The sun was shining outside which had everyone in good spirits for the long-awaited return of the show.
The ‘Call of the Wild’ festival held at the Lincolnshire Showground rocked it out this year. They had an amazing turnout, after a 3-year sabbatical due to covid, with a main stage that certainly packed a punch with a vast array of lighting and effects provided by MJC Electronics.
It’s been an exciting few months at Prolight HQ, not only with new product releases, but also with the return of Plasa Focus in Leeds! We were eager, to not only have face to face interaction with visitors to the show, but to introduce some new brands into the mix. One of our latest additions is Lucenti, who we are now representing in the UK – Raising the bar in lighting with their Blackwave pixel bar series and Vinci DMX addressable festoon lamps.
Our LEDJ TPix series are fast becoming the go-to product for creating visually stunning, eye-candy effects in the TV world. Lighting designers Tom Dyson and Roger Williams love them so much they have featured heavily on some of their recent projects including ‘The Weakest Link’ and ‘The Tournament’ game shows, as well as the ‘Global Climate Debate’.
Lighting and sound equipment plays a huge part in specialist sensory installations, creating different solutions from calming atmospheres to stimulating experiences. One of Premier Solutions aqua sensory installations was completed during lockdown for the Scarborough Disabled swimming group and featured 17 of the LEDJ Spectra Flood Q15 exterior fixtures.
Tate Britain today unveils RUPTURE NO l: blowtorching the bitten peach, a major new work by Heather Phillipson. Lighting, alongside sound and motion, played a key part in her unique spaces, with vibrant hues being created via two light sources from our eLumen8 and LEDJ brands.
Our new range of 2W polycarbonate LED filament lamps have just landed and already proving popular. These durable warm white (2700K) LED lamps are available in golf ball and GLS versions with a choice of either Edison Screw or Bayonet Cap bases. They are fully dimmable, making them suitable for virtually all applications from small to large indoor and outdoor events through to hotels, bars and restaurants, along with various other decorative applications including home use

The rainforest is the world’s largest indoor rainforest at 50 meters high and 16,000m2 and the Mediterranean houses some of the world’s rarest horticultural specimens.
