Discontinued Product Archive
This section contains products that are no longer part of the current Prolight range. Archived product pages are retained to help customers, technicians, venues and hire companies identify existing equipment and refer back to available specifications, images and supporting information.
A product appearing here should be treated as discontinued rather than available to purchase. Archived descriptions reflect the product at the time it was offered and may not represent current standards, software support, documentation or accessory availability.
Finding an Older Product
The quickest way to identify discontinued equipment is by its original stock code or complete model name. These details can normally be found on the product label, rear panel, original packaging, invoice or manual.
- Stock code: Search using the original Prolight order code where available.
- Model name: Include the complete model name and any version or generation suffix.
- Brand: Confirm the original manufacturer, as similar names may exist across different ranges.
- Physical details: Check connector layouts, dimensions, mounting points and control interfaces.
- Serial information: Retain the serial number when requesting technical or service guidance.
Manuals and Technical Information
Visit the Resources area to search for available manuals and technical documents. Documentation may include operating instructions, DMX channel information, connection diagrams, specifications and maintenance guidance.
Not every historical product will have a complete set of downloadable files. Manuals may also cover a particular hardware or software revision, so confirm that the document matches the model and version shown on the equipment label.
Choosing a Current Alternative
A newer product may offer improved performance or additional features, but it should not automatically be considered a direct replacement. Compare the requirements of the original installation or production system before changing equipment.
- Power: Compare supply voltage, consumption, connector type and power-linking requirements.
- Signal and control: Check DMX modes, network protocols, audio or video formats and remote-control compatibility.
- Physical compatibility: Compare dimensions, weight, mounting points, clamps, brackets and available space.
- Performance: Review output, coverage, capacity, frequency response, resolution or other application-specific figures.
- Accessories: Confirm whether existing cases, cables, controllers, power supplies or mounting hardware remain compatible.
- System integration: Check whether the replacement must operate alongside older units within the same installation or hire inventory.
Where several matching units are already installed, differences in colour, movement, audio performance, processing, firmware or control behaviour may be important. A technically newer model is not necessarily suitable for mixed operation with the original equipment.
Service and Spare Part Enquiries
Service, repair and spare-part availability varies according to the product, age, manufacturer and component required. Inclusion in this archive does not confirm that replacement parts or repair support remain available.
When contacting the technical team, provide the stock code, model name, serial number, a clear description of the issue and photographs where relevant. This information helps the team identify the correct product and determine what guidance may be available.
Do not open or attempt to repair mains-powered, high-voltage, battery-powered, lifting or load-bearing equipment unless you are suitably competent and authorised to do so.
